As Director of Policy & Business Affairs, China, you will be responsible for the company’s strategic relationships with Chinese government authorities, policy-makers, industry/trade associations and academic institutions relevant to Dolby’s business. You will be based in Beijing, China and report to the Senior Director of Policy & Business Affairs for Asia-Pacific.
Position Roles and Responsibilities
Position Requirements
At least 10 years of related work experience in government service, in-house government relations at a multinational technology corporation, industry/trade association, or political consulting agency with an emphasis on the technology sector. Deep knowledge of Chinese government institutions, networks and policy-making procedures relevant to a technology company like Dolby. Strong business acumen with track record of developing and implementing government relations strategy and programs on complex matters. Strong communication and strategic thinking skills. Fluency in Chinese and English and the ability to bridge cultural differences and succeed in a cross-cultural environment. Strong work ethic and commitment to supporting and effectively partnering with colleagues across business functions and regions. Political acumen, and effective advocacy, negotiation and consensus-building skills. Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as required. Undergraduate degree (required); law degree or graduate degree in business administration, public administration, or communications would be a plus.*LI-SB1
