Huntsman’s Performance Products division is now looking for a Scientist. This Scientist is

To Work closely with APAC technical team to design & synthesis new product or modification of current product to support business need.

This role is located in Huntsman Shanghai Campus.

As the Scientist, you will:

Operate lab & technical service activities fully compliance with Huntsman’s EH&S policy and strive for continuous improvement in safety performance. Work closely with regional application team to understand business needs, probe possibility of expanding new business by design and synthesis of new product or modification of current product. Provide plant support for customer complain and process improvement and scale-up projects. Keep track of the technical advances and trends in business focus industry. Create and deliver effective reports and presentations in support of all responsibilities. Liaise with respective global synthesis & process team to drive R&D projects forward.

Skills and experiences required:

Minimum MS in organic chemistry or chemical engineering or polymer or related fields. Master with minimum 3 years industry experience or fresh PhD graduate. Experience in organic synthesis or polymer synthesis or material modification.
