Job Description

As Head of Business Tech Greater China, you will manage, lead and coordinate teams in delivering products and services. Bridge between supporting functions connected to the unit based in Greater China Region. You will act based on the Greater China Brand Plans and align with Tech team’s objectives. Make sure the deliveries comply with internal policy and standards and local laws. You will manage product teams, processes, and partners for efficient and effective deliveries. The product teams and services are guided by supporting functions such as Commercial, Human Resources, and enterprise architecture. You understand both global and local perspectives of technical deliveries and collaborate equally efficiently with Tech and business stakeholders alike.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the unit to plan for and execute on the tech related part of the Greater China Brand plan. Collaborate with the Greater China leadership team and Global Tech teams to drive towards the company’s tech vision through alignment and co-creation.
  • Develop our “China for China” Team in Shanghai consisting of Tech and Global Sales colleagues. Build efficient and high performing teams with passionate team members.
  • Set objectives and execute plans to achieve desired outcomes. Including responsibility for budgeting and follow up. Secure legal compliance of digital/tech products according to local regulations.
  • Drive business cases for technical investments to reach objectives.
  • Accountable for commercial and vendor management of local partners.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the field of Technology development and operations

Experience

  • 10+ years of digital development and operations from the retail industry
  • Experience from both agile and waterfall organizations
  • Proven experience from leading technical teams with delivery and staff responsibility
  • Proven experience from collaboration in a global organization
  • Track record of achieving tangible results by delivery tech solutions
  • Understanding of business case structure
  • Commercial experience with digital partners
  • Ability to collaborate and align within global business tech and the regional sales organization.
  • Experience from China digital retail landscape
  • Interest and experience in Cyber Security

Interest and experience in of Analytics



Additional Information

This is a full-time position based in Shanghai.  This role includes occasional travel to other sales countries/markets.The application deadline is on or before the 26th of July, 2024
