DNV – Maritime Region Greater China is looking for a project manager approval (PMA) who will be working in the Pre-contract & PMA section at Technical Centre China (TCC) that is located in Shanghai. TCC is the technological hub in this environment, providing plan approval and precontract services for newbuilding and maritime service. Besides, TCC also acts as the technical competence center providing technical support to both internal and external clients.

As PMA, you will report to the Head of Pre-contract & PMA section.

Responsibilities

Support precontract and sales activities such as bidding Complete control, initiation, planning, execution and close-out process related to PMA’s responsibility for newbuilding plan approval Work closely with the sales organization and customer to ensure internal alignment on project expectations and deliverables Manage and execute the internal work order between the newbuilding region and global approval centers Coordination for smooth communication between internal and external parties Propose improvement opportunities where relevant and communicate to line management at the first opportunity if in receipt of the critical issues Flexible work arrangements for better work-life balance Generous Paid Leaves (Sick leaves policy/ Annual leaves policy) Medical benefits - Annual Health Check-up Pension and Insurance Policies – (Pension Insurance, Medical Insurance, Unemployment Insurance, Work related injury insurance, Supplementary Pension) Training and Development Assistance (Training Sponsorship, On-The-Job Training, Training Programme) Additional Benefits (Long Service Awards, Mobile Phone Reimbursement, Lunch Policy) Local conditions would be applicable

Qualifications:

University degree (. Naval Architect, Marine Engineer) from a recognized University Min. 5 years of experience in maritime business Customer oriented with a good understanding of shipbuilding practice Positive and proactive attitude with a solution-oriented mindset Good written and verbal English communication skills Flexibility with regards to work tasks, ability to adapt to the situation and cultural differences Flexibility in traveling if required
