Job Summary

If you are a professional looking for a supply chain opportunity, Emerson has an exciting role for you We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist to work with suppliers, operations, R&D and quality team as an individual contributor, under general direction, contribute to AFTC materials regionalization and other supply chain critical metrics.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Supply base optimization - Regionalization 

Increase spend % from AP sources to a certain level decided by management team

Spend analysis by applying / rule to identify sourcing opportunities.

Lead regionalization projects under their commodity assignments. 

Provide a timeline for regionalization projects for

Supply base optimization - Alternative sourcing

Support global commodity teams in developing and implementing supply strategy for the assigned commodities.

ES project planning for their commodities.

Technical specification & commercial data preparation for sourcing projects.

As an interface to supplier & internal functions regard project timeline, engineering questions and quotation etc.

Commercial

System parametric update for new suppliers. (for example, vendor name, vendor contact details, payment terms and shipment terms etc.)

Item master update, including vendor code, unit price, MOQ and L/T etc. 

Support Purchasing / SQE on the advanced issues related to supplier delivery / quality.

Contribute to the containment plan through activities from group and group .

New Product Introduction

Support AFTC NPD needs. 

Support AFTC NPI needs.

Special Project

Together with SQE, identify, evaluate, and assess suppliers with ESAC or CP- process.

Using CIP and other tools, identify and implement improvements in processes and procedures.

To implement ISO // seriously and improve quality / environment / Occupational Health continuously.

For This Role, You Will Need:

The candidate shall have demonstrated ability in supply chain or commodity management, mechanical or chemical commodities are preferred. Proven knowledge of financial markets that influence commodity prices. Good negotiation skills and effective communication with vendors and suppliers. Advanced analytical abilities. Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across various departments.

Bachelor Engineering, or equivalent Strong technical skills in appropriate engineering field. Commercial and management experience a plus Be familiar with ISO system
