What will you be doing?

The Account Specialist manages the company's relationships with clients – including in-depth analysis, presentations to senior management, and contract renewal negotiations. The Account Specialist also understands the clients' businesses through a macro perspective, and proactively identifies opportunities to apply the company research to key issues. The Account Specialist will be managing the existing clients in China including Taiwan, for the US, Canada, and Mexico market information.

Job Responsibilities

Servicing and developing all Technology clients, including developing detailed client plans for assigned accounts; understanding the client’s organization, internal objectives and business issues; and recognizing data inconsistencies and analytic possibilities for the Technology industry; and preparing and presenting sales, training, and data presentations to clients. Establishing and managing client relationships with existing clients in China, including Taiwan Fulfilling internal financial and administrative requirements for budgets and forecasts Ensuring overall client satisfaction with service, data application and deliverables by managing client relationships to build a reputation for excellent service and generate repeat business Evaluating how the company’s products and services can address client’s key business issues by working with the client contact, senior management, and appropriate internal teams to develop or market products to address these issues Expanding the client base to include a broader mix of end users at accounts through the effective demonstration of how the company data can help them accomplish their goals Developing incremental business within each account, including creating sales goals and retention plans for each account and negotiating contract agreements Uncovering new product development opportunities by identifying and addressing client needs and maintaining role as internal liaison with operations and technology product team Growing revenue of the accounts as well as identifying new business opportunities within the given budget structure Collaborate with the US-based account teams and internal stakeholders to best fulfill the client/company’s needs.

Requirements

years+ experience in a client facing role with a consumer electronics industry, market research firm, or equivalent is preferred Solid presentation skills Ability to build and maintain close relationships with key influencers and decision makers Competent in entire selling process Experience in using all MS Office products (Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Word) BA/BS or equivalent Excellent English and Chinese both in writing and oral communications
