Business Process Consultant, Asia

Basic Function

The incumbent in this job is a business processes subject matter expert for the Lead to Order (L2O) processes (e.g., CRM and Pricing Management). The person interfaces with senior business stakeholders on business drivers and translates requirements into standardized and global processes. The incumbent in this job can lead large and complex projects over several parts or an entire business process to make significant step change performance improvements . Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

General
•    Lead from business process perspective complex projects (up to 20 million USD) over own part in L2O (or support in other parts) work streams related to but not limited to, Pricing Management, Order Management, Planning & Forecasting and Logistics Management, to make significant performance improvements.
•    Solves clearly defined complex problems; selecting solutions within area of expertise and acquired knowledge
•    Manage own work stream and support other specific L2C process areas and associated technology with a medium to high strategic focus which can include any combination of the following: Customer Centricity & Commercial Excellence, Digital Transformation, Master Data, Pricing, Inventory Planning, Order Management, Reporting, Demand Planning, etc. 
•    Act as a main point of contact for medium to high level managers, stakeholders, programmers, and analysts to facilitate discussions regarding key L2C process areas. 
•    Act as the conduit through which business priorities and needs are communicated and incorporated within the strategic and tactical action plan for (non-)technical process improvements and ITS related projects. 
•    Serve as a trusted advisor to regional business stakeholders, maintaining business network internally/externally.
•    Responsible for the intake, assessment, implementation and/or disposition of new capability requests from business stakeholders.
•    Maintain/develop an in-depth understanding of the Business Functions/Processes/Tools supported, be viewed by the business as a Processes Lead for business within Global Business Processes.
•    Responsible for improving and innovating business processes based upon a good understanding of the business drivers and external environment. 
•    Analyse business processes to identify process improvements and system enhancements and translate to change initiatives/projects to deliver better business outcomes.
•    Manage development and execution of test plans, scenarios and scripts and test software configurations working with subject matter experts and key users.
•    Perform and present cost-benefit analysis on potential solutions, business justification.

Area of Expertise, Requirements
•    Has developed depth and/or breadth of knowledge in own sub-function; integrates knowledge of company and business challenges    
•    3+ Years’ experience with leading or coordinating start-to-end SAP implementation/integration/change projects in a manufacturing, commercial or supply chain environment
•    Demonstrated experiences with CRM and Pricing tools (e.g., Salesforce & PriceFx)
•    Medium to high level of business acumen
•    Excellent analytical, communication (includes across continents as well), organization, and facilitation skills with a focus on results, customer service and change management
•    Process Re-engineering, Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma experience preferred 
•    Experience with business process analysis, requirements documentation and process mapping
•    Demonstrated experience in process management (in particular KPI and benchmarking)
•    Experience in a global, dynamic and deadline driven environment. 
 

Min. Qualifications

Education
•    Master’s/Bachelor’s degree preferably in economics, finance, engineering or supply chain or more than 10 years’ relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
•    Preferred Project management 
•    Preferred (Lean) six sigma.

Work Experience 
•    Ideal candidate would have at least 8 years of experience working in a manufacturing, commercial or logistics supply chain organization with preference for industrial environment. 

Languages

•   Fluent in English and Mandarin language preferred.
