What youâll do- Lead the development of new LED lighting products, from ideation to commercialization, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, marketing and suppliers, to define project goals, develop project plans, and execute projects.
- Manage project risks, track project progress, and proactively identify and address potential issues that may impact project timelines, budget, or quality.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement by staying up-to-date with industry trends, conducting market research, and promoting a culture of creativity and experimentation within the team.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical project management, preferably in the lighting/consumer electronics field.
- Background on solar/battery, solar lighting industry is preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex projects from start to finish, on time and within budget, with knowledge of product development processes, including design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
