Job Description

Mercedes-Benz Group China Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Leader to lead the R&D platform team in Beijing. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, verification, delivery, and upgrade iteration for the deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the R&D platform team to conduct requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, verification, delivery, and upgrade iteration for the deliverables.
  • Coordinate within and outside the company of ECU/modules (interface definition, delivery definition, and regular status tracking, joint debugging, etc.).
  • Work closely with global platform team and function owner team on solution discussion and alignment, enabling and improving the platform product.
  • Cross-domain collaboration and cooperation with cross-domain and other teams such as vehicle architecture, information security, and functional safety to confirm relevant design matching.
  • Management of project plans, costs, resources, tasks, opening items, risks, etc.
  • Organize regular project engineering team meetings to review progress, coordinate resources, resolve problems and conflicts, and ensure successful delivery.
  • Regular project status reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, computer sciences, or automation.
  • Fluent English and Chinese is mandatory; German language knowledge is an advantage.
  • Minimum 6 years working experience at an internet company, OEM, or OEM supplier for cockpit and ADAS project software development, system development, and technical project management & execution.
  • Deep understanding of smart cockpit or ADAS product is required.
  • Good understanding about platform software, solution is required.
  • Familiar with project management processes, methods, and tools, including but not limited to ASPICE, SCRUM.
  • Deep understanding of agile development model and JIRA is required.
  • Be familiar with CAN, LIN, Vehicle Ethernet, and other base SW system.
  • Be familiar with QNX/Linux/Android OS, middleware, and APP.
  • Ability to drive the problem-solving process self-contained with high degree of persistence and patience.
  • Outstanding communication and understanding skills, cross-department coordination skills, learning skills, and reporting and summarizing skills.
  • Have strong execution ability, have an overall view and pay attention to details, and have clear and logical thinking.
  • Have strong ability to withstand stress, high adversity quotient, and strong self-reflection ability.
