Associate Sales Director-Bio K

We are seeking a strategic and experienced eCommerce Manager to lead our China cross-border eCommerce operations. This role will involve identifying go-to-market and growth strategies, as well as screening, interviewing, and collaborating with distributors and agencies to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Chinese market, eCommerce platforms, and regulations, combined with strong leadership and partnership management skills.
Key responsibilities1. Strategy and planning:
• Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies for the China cross-border eCommerce business.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
• Establish growth strategies and set goals and KPIs for sales, customer acquisition, and market penetration.
2. Platform Management:
• Manage and optimize flagship store and listings on major Chinese eCommerce platforms (e.g., Tmall Global, Tiktok, JD Worldwide, Alibaba).
• Ensure product content is accurate, localized, and appealing to the Chinese consumer.
3. Marketing and Sales:
• Develop and execute online marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, social media, and influencer partnerships, to drive traffic and sales.
• Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to improve ROI.
• Collaborate with the agency to create promotional materials and strategies tailored to the Chinese audience. Collaborate with the agency to develop content (seeding and harvesting) across platforms including Redbook and Tiktok.
4. Distributor and agency management:
• Screen, interview, and select distributors and agencies that align with the company's goals and values.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with distributors and agencies to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
•Work closely with distributors and agencies to implement strategies and achieve the best possible results.
5。 Customer Experience:
• Ensure a seamless shopping experience for Chinese customers, along the AIPL path to purchase.
• Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service and satisfaction.
• Address customer inquiries and issues promptly, maintaining high standards of customer service.
6. Logistics and supply chain:
• Coordinate with distributor and internal Kerry supply chain team to ensure efficient and cost-effective shipping and delivery.
• Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock and not overstock while minimizing excess.
• Understand and comply with Chinese customs and import regulations.
7. Partnership and Relationships:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including eCommerce platforms, distributors, logistics providers, and marketing agencies.
• Facilitate collaboration between internal teams and external partners to drive success.
8. Reporting and analysis:
• Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and other relevant metrics.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
• Use data analytics to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in eCommerce management, specifically within the Chinese market.
- Marketing experience in CBEC environment a must.
- Deep understanding of Chinese eCommerce platforms, consumer behavior, and regulatory environment.
- Existing relationship with key platform supplement buyers a plus.
- Experience in screening, interviewing, and managing distributors and agencies.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken).
