BUSINESS UNIT

At HRS we understand Finance as a value-enabling function as it is an essential ingredient to our business success. In order to ensure the efficient financial management and financial control necessary to support all business activities, it comprises all major related responsibilities: from Financial and Cash Flow Management, Accounting, Advising and longer-term financing, Tax Management, Investment Management, to Purchasing, Controlling, Budgeting and Forecasting as well as Financial Reporting and Analysis to assisting and challenging the CEO, Business Unit Leaders and Managers in making key strategic decisions. 
The department is set up as a shared service for the HRS Group with a cross-location team of around 40 experts, headed by the CFO and his Management Team, working on standardized workflows to increase efficiency on the one hand and apply state of the art decision-making tools and principle-based recommendations to foster organizational resilience in times of rapid change on the other.

 

POSITION

We are looking for a Shanghai based Accounting Manager (all genders) to join our team of dedicated professionals.

 

CHALLENGE

 

  • Responsible for checking the accounts of partners, preparing the balance sheet of funds, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of settlement data
  • Reviewed payment applications of business departments, and managed fund allocation of the company
  • Support technical team to develop related financial software, establish and communicate new business settlement process
  • Take end to end responsibility of reviewing the monthly performance of the Chinese entity including development of action plans together with the local MD to meet annual budget and forecast targets
  • Provide analyses, monthly reports and financial advice as input for short-term initiatives, forecasting / budgeting process as well as long-term B2B strategy
  • Implement and monitor internal control systems
  • Manage the accounts receivables process for Greater China hotels and calculate Revenue-shared commission to our customers
  • Continuously optimize Controlling / Accounting / Accounts Receivables work flows and processes in line with group policies
  • Lead, recruit and train the local finance team
  • Prepare expense report in monthly group reporting templates
  • Check and approve all payments, including expense reimbursement
  • Liaise with local auditors, SAFE and tax authority to carry out required company audit, foreign currency and tax activities
  • Support monthly management review meeting, provide financial results of each departments and follow up with responsible departments for their explanation.
  • Other ad hoc projects as required by management.

 

FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...

  • A university degree or above in Finance/Controlling/Accounting
  • 4 years of working experience as Senior Accountant in multinational company
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office toolset and Kingdee accounting system
  • Good communication skills, service orientation and analytical skills
  • Fluency in English, spoken and written
