What does the role involve?

The International Business Developer (IBD) plays a technical and leadership role in the global Hilti E&I community. As an IBD, you'll focus on Chinese Engineering and Construction Accounts (EPCs) involved in Automotive projects. You'll create and execute strategies to enhance sales opportunities, coordinate a worldwide team, and work on tailored solutions and engineering standards.

  • Contribute to sales development and execute account strategies
  • Collaborate with operational teams in target accounts across different disciplines
  • Focus on customer projects in international locations
  • Analyze economic and market trends to develop advantageous strategies
  • Maintain effective communication systems within the team and company
  • Engage with multiple offices/branches in various regions

What you need is:

  • Degree or above in civil, mechanical, manufacturing, or electrical engineering
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in engineering or construction within EPC accounts
  • Strategic thinking, goal-oriented, and sales negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently, welcome feedback, and bring innovative ideas
  • Business administration experience with forecasting, budgeting, and planning
  • Teamwork skills to steer across teams and manage stakeholders
