We are currently searching for an experienced Quality Engineer (QE) to join our Equipment Quality Team. As a QE, you will focus on handling quality issues in our plant, root-cause analysis, and CARs (Corrective Action Requests), develop processes, and be responsible for the quality in the plant. You will partner with our Quality Engineers, Materials Management, Procurement, Engineering, and Production teams to drive excellent performance and improve productivity in our factory. The APAC quality team is small and relatively new, meaning the job will be hands-on in solving issues, and there will be a strong focus on developing and elevating quality standards. You will work together with our global quality team in the US and EMEA to standardize and drive quality in the organization. The ideal candidate should demonstrate great communication skills, excellent technical skills with attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities:

Lead the identification, root cause analysis, and resolution of related manufacturing quality issues (Non-Conforming-Materials). Provide the feedback of quality issues to engineering, procurement and project management. Coordinate with suppliers and/or supplier quality engineer to solve quality issues. Oversee the entire quality process from parts receiving to assembly, testing, and packaging. Develop and/or improve the quality management system and quality control plans in our factory. Identify the gaps in our quality processes and work with various stakeholders to improve the processes. Analyze trends, anticipate potential problems, and take Corrective and Preventative Actions to avoid future issues. Work with manufacturing engineering to develop and/or improve assembly work instructions and standardization of assembly work. Proactively initiate and lead continues improvement projects.

Desired qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent working experience. Minimum of 5 years of equipment manufacturing quality or process experience. Familiarity with production assembly line process. Experience in a low volume production environment is a plus. Experience with Lean/5S concepts is a plus. Good English (spoken and written). Comfortable usage of Microsoft Office (excel, word).
