We are looking for a Sourcing Engineer to join Consumables Supply Chain in China. Your role will involve managing China procurement activities, ensuring optimal prices and quality from external suppliers to maximize cost competitiveness and meet market demand. This position will report to the Sourcing Manager, Consumables Supply Chain China.

This role is based in Shanghai, China.

Team:

You will be part of the consumable procurement team that collaborates closely with both internal and external stakeholders. Our team values ambition, customer focus, teamwork, openness, and honesty.

Responsibilities:


- Oversee procurement performance and compliance
- Monitor cost evolution and market trends
- Develop procurement strategies
- Collaborate with global management
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiations for cost reduction
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
- Support quality teams and ensure customer requirements are met
- Willingness to travel when required

Authority:

Authorized to manage and implement procurement strategies as directed.

Requirements:


- Degree in relevant field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in global purchasing and negotiation

- Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills
- Quick learner
- Proficient in data analysis tools
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Willingness to travel
