Lead direct broker management for safety and compliance assurance
Integrate broker management for import and export safety and compliance assuranceDevelop systematic management mechanism on direct broker management, e.g. KPI, benchmark, incentive measures, etcSupport and lead implementation from operation view on Customs related new policies, projectsWork closely with CTC for daily operation compliance and continuous optimization on broker management efficiencyProactive seek for opportunities for Customs clearance process optimization especially in lead time, cost saving and innovation.Take lead in Customs related site inspection, audit, AEO preparation, etcLogistics Import and export overall management
Lead and drive import and export management with joint team with Customer Solution, sales teamLead end to end logistics solution generation and contribute to customer centricity (complaint handling, value added service)Lead and responsible for monthly import and export target track and traceResponsible for relative BE delivery KPI monitoring (OTIF, ATA) and drive for continuous improvementEnsure operation safety and complianceClose communication with internal & external key stakeholder, i.e. Customs, associations, etcLogistics Service Provider management
Develop/optimize relative BE delivery incentive/penalty system and annual assessment system on logistics service provider performance and qualification/disqualification processLead logistics service provider performance (forwarding, ocean, 4PL, etc) review periodically and monitor follow up actionsLead delivery related customer complaint whole process investigation and ensure root cause analysis and corrective actions, evidence well maintainedFreight cost settlement
Responsible for relative import and export monthly freight cost settlement and monitoringEnsure accrual accuracy and complete on timeKeep close communication with other functions to verify all related cost happened in right wayDrive for cost optimization/saving opportunitiesLogistics process management and optimization
Lead import and export related projects and process optimizationTake advantage of system tools for process optimization and efficiency, such as Tableau, RoiPE, cargo cockpit etcSet up standard logistics SOP for LSP to follow exactly on Covestro requirementsStrive for quick and efficient solution in LSP routine performance issues and create transparence on dashboardLead import and export innovation and sustainability projectsProcess governance and assurance
Training needs collection and communication with other functions for training effect feedback for further improvementNew LSP entrance training organizing and coordinationCultivate knowledge transfer internally and externally among logistic areaSupport on ISO audit and external audit to prepare documents according to audit requirementsKeep good records of daily operation and periodically review on team documents and rerecordsSupport on ICS related audit if possibleQualifications:
Bachelor or Master Degree in trade, supply chain, logistics management or equivalent fieldMinimum 10+ years logistics, broker management, or related working experiences in below fields:Broker or Customs related experiences is a plusChemical logistics operations and managementAble to work independently and deliver result under pressureSAP operation experience would be an advantageExcellent at spoken and written English and MandarinGood presenting skillsEffective communication with cross-functional organizationsStrategic and Analytical thinking, able to solve problems in complex environment and manage conflicts constructivelySelf-motivated, take calculated risks, be accountable for actions and results, successes and failuresOpen-minded, challenge the status quo and drive changes activelyManaging relationships, build constructive and effective relationships inside and outside the organizationWHAT YOU OFFER
