Integrators and consultants may lack comprehension of a firm's business model or data, or fail to offer the necessary ongoing support to uphold and enhance the solution post-implementation.

What's the role?
As an Integration Specialist supporting our expanding business, you will be in charge of technical integration between our client systems and Bloomberg's top-tier applications. Integrations often require developing and deploying solutions for clients seeking to integrate their systems with the Bloomberg cloud, yet can also involve linking client systems with other in-house or third-party sources or destinations. This process entails engaging in technical discussions with our clients to grasp their workflow and specific needs.

In this capacity, you will handle client projects related to the creation of data transformation middleware technology that backs both real-time and batch-based processing, linking the client with the Bloomberg cloud and/or other third-party systems. These solutions can accommodate XML, FIX, FpML/SWIFT messaging protocols, as well as MQ, SFTP, ODBC, and various product APIs.

We'll trust you to:

  • Design, configure, integrate, test, and lead implementation projects, collaborating directly with clients and internal teams to guarantee robust and secure connectivity and integration to Bloomberg applications
  • Swiftly address project-related implementation challenges by collaborating with various internal teams to minimize downtime
  • Ensure a seamless lifecycle for our clients transitioning from project implementation to production support by establishing a deep understanding of their workflows and effectively communicating them to relevant teams
  • Gain a comprehensive grasp of the features and capabilities of our product suite through on-the-job learning, enabling you to promptly and efficiently manage client inquiries
  • Enhance processes, best practices, and efficiency in onboarding setups and connections by proactively pinpointing gaps to enhance the client experience
  • Efficiently manage multiple projects with varying priorities in an agile manner
  • Show willingness to learn and adapt swiftly to changes

You'll need to have:

  • 3+ years of experience in the financial industry, showcasing expertise in trading workflows in one or more asset classes like Equities, FI, or FX
  • Proficiency in managing complex technical discussions across various stakeholder groups with exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin
  • Familiarity with EMS/OMS integrations
  • Experience utilizing financial data transfer/messaging protocols such as FIX, MQ, SFTP, SWIFT, Web APIs
  • Ability to troubleshoot networks and connectivity issues, including LAN/WAN & TCP/IP
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and commands
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects to meet deliverables, including transparent communication of progress and outcomes to relevant stakeholders
  • Capability to work autonomously and establish fruitful relationships with external clients
  • Proactive in identifying process gaps and taking the lead in enhancing them by defining and piloting new procedures

We'd love to see:

  • Experience applying Data Transformation to workflows using ETL tools like Informatica/Mulesoft/TIBCO/Dell Boomi or through transformation languages like XML XSLT/Perl
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management or client relationship management
  • Familiarity with programming/scripting
  • Basic understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure
  • Proficiency in an additional Asian language to enhance client support across the APAC region
