Job Description
The Head of Sales China is the owner of all cross-Business Area (BA) customer matters and represents all BAs in front of the customer's top-management. The function develops and executes the customer strategy in a strong alignment with the BAs, summarizing all business opportunities for future growth and value creation.
1. Steer and define strategic review for business/customer strategy and drive the implementation in alignment with BAs.
2. Drive and guide BAs related acquisition requirements cross BAs, and support BA acquisition requirements.
3. Steer customer engagement, knowledge of customer processes, and set internal guidelines for improvement processes, providing innovation solutions.
4. Orchestrate and steer the right and balanced goal alignment and ensure an aligned internal/external communication, and support BA in defining the goal alignment for Sales.
5. Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of best-in-class assumptions for Sales Planning & Opportunity Management.
6. Be a strong leader to build a high performing team, coach and guide them to drive innovation and transformation.
7. Responsible for planning and approval of responsible cost center and budget.
Qualifications
1. Degree in Business Administration, Economics and/or Engineering
2. Minimum 10 years job experience in an international automotive environment
3. Minimum 5 years job experience in cross Divisional / Business Area activities
4. Minimum 3 years' experience in project management
5. Minimum 5 years leadership experience with international teams. Overseas working experience will be a plus.
6. Expert in Sales Project Mgmt, Relationship Mgmt, Customer & Market Intelligence, Negotiation, etc, as well as interpersonal skills.
7. Preferred Technical Knowledge of current and future product/solutions, as well as Finance and Legal.
