Overview

The APAC sector Sustainability Office coordinates and drives work towards achieving sustainability targets. The focus is on reliable data for measuring progress and complying with global reporting regulations. This position works with various teams to ensure traceable sustainability performance and projects, benchmarking current methods and suggesting improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Support adoption of updated sustainability governance framework
    • Work closely with teams to evaluate procedures and ensure regulatory compliance
    • Support necessary processes for new sustainability reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with IT teams to automate reporting processes
  • Support implementation pathways for new governance framework and data pipelines
  • Monitor implementation of governance framework across business functions

Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of Sustainability/ESG accounting and data management
  • High performance individual with accounting and reporting experience
  • Bachelor's in Sustainability, Environmental Science/Engineer, Accounting/Finance or related field
  • Master's degree in Sustainability, MBA, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in accounting, reporting, sustainability, or related field
  • Experience in sustainability reporting and related standards
  • Familiar with Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainability programs
  • Demonstrated experience in partnering with other teams
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving abilities
  • Proven proficiency in attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Embraces technology for driving efficiency in reporting
  • Experience in analyzing business processes and implementing controls
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects
  • Based in Shanghai or Bangkok
