The Job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a facilitator for the Scrum team, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and practices.
  • Guide and coach the team on Scrum practices and Agile methodologies.
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Assist the Product Owner in maintaining the product backlog and prioritizing work.
  • Remove impediments and blockers that hinder the team's progress.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance within the team.
  • Promote collaboration and effective communication among team members.
  • Track and communicate team progress and performance metrics.
  • Support the team in identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Work closely with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to ensure alignment and consistency across teams.

The Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps).
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices.
