Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Project Manager to join our team at Blizzard Entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between internal and external teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee the quality assurance process to ensure all outsourced deliverables meet Blizzard's high standards.
  • Coordinate with regional teams to ensure responsible test areas are covered.
  • Partner with development leadership to provide high-value quality-related services.
  • Develop and execute test plans for complex features and systems.
  • Work closely with Live Operations Manager and game development teams to ensure accuracy and deliverables.
  • Validate the setup and execution of launches, in-game promotions, and other events.

Requirements:

  • Strong grasp of the English language and ability to tailor communication for all levels of the organization.
  • Diplomatic and effective in interacting with people at all levels to drive QA initiatives.
  • Several years of experience in functional quality assurance and project management.
  • Familiarity with Blizzard Entertainment's products and services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on a live game operated as a service.
  • Certifications: PMP, Scrum Master, and/or Product Owner, ISTQB.
  • Coding knowledge: XML/HTML, JavaScript, Python, Java, C/C++/C#, SQL.
  • Proficiency in another language besides Mandarin Chinese and English.
  • Experience working on AAA video game titles.
  • Knowledge of Blizzard's multiverse.
