Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Rolls-Royce. As a key member of our Quality team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality strategies to meet business objectives and enhance our reputation.
- Support the development and deployment of quality capability and culture within the organization.
- Deploy metrics and key performance indicators to drive quality performance and ensure governance and support are in place.
- Understand relevant laws, regulations, and customer requirements, and support the definition and implementation of compliance strategies.
- Provide proactive assurance that regulatory, business, and customer requirements will be met.
- Drive change to the operating system and SABRe to mitigate risks, maximize effectiveness, and eliminate cost/waste.
- Protect the business and customer through problem containment and resolution, and ensure corrective and preventative actions are completed and verified.
- Enable the business to deliver zero defects through coaching and application of defect prevention methodologies.
- Assess prospective suppliers for suitability, fit, and capability, and drive supplier maturity and improvement.
Requirements:
- Professionally qualified with relevant experience in quality and aerospace industry.
- Broad knowledge of product through the life-cycle.
- Knowledge and understanding of airworthiness regulations.
- Knowledge of problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to influence and assess quality implications in a challenging operational environment.
- Well-developed customer and relationship management skills.
- Understanding of human factors and human performance.
- Experience of influencing and building relationships at different levels.
- Understanding of a positive safety culture and its promotion.
- Operational experience of activities within the relevant approved organization scope.
