About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Rolls-Royce. As a key member of our Quality team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
  • Lead and support the deployment of quality initiatives across the organization to drive continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate quality risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Assess and evaluate supplier performance to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and key performance indicators to measure and track quality performance.
  • Provide training and coaching to employees on quality procedures and best practices.
  • Participate in audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Professionally qualified with relevant experience in quality and aerospace industry.
  • Broad knowledge of product through the life-cycle.
  • Knowledge and understanding of airworthiness regulations.
  • Knowledge of problem solving and continuous improvement methodologies, eg; Six Sigma, Lean & 8D.
  • Ability to influence and assess the related Quality implications in a challenging operational environment.
  • Well-developed customer and relationship management skills to work as part of the Business and Quality Leadership team, and with other internal and external Stakeholders and other Industry bodies.
  • Understanding of Human factors and Human Performance.
  • Experience of influencing and building relationships at different levels.
  • Understanding of a positive safety culture and of its promotion.
  • Operational experience of activities within the relevant approved organisation scope.
