Amazon Global Selling has been empowering individuals and businesses to boost sales and expand their customer base worldwide. Currently, over half of Amazon's total unit sales originate from third-party sellers. The Global Selling team in China plays a crucial role in recruiting local businesses to sell across Amazon's 19+ international marketplaces, as well as in aiding local sellers in achieving and sustaining success on the platform.

Our aspiration is to become the preferred option for all types of Chinese businesses looking to venture into global markets.

About the Role:

  • Lead and nurture a team responsible for project performance, program operations, and product management.
  • Identify opportunities within the Global Selling seller segments, develop new products/services to facilitate seller growth, establish go-to-market strategies, and ensure product success.
  • Clearly outline and communicate product requirements, secure buy-in from internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Drive the design and development of logistics products from China to worldwide destinations, collaborating with product and tech teams to enhance product features.

About the Team:

The AGS PMO team oversees the products and programs supporting Amazon Global Selling in Asia. Working closely with the AGS business team, the PMO identifies seller pain points and business requirements to conceive innovative product ideas. The team also collaborates with tech and global product teams to craft product and program solutions, steer key deliverables, and shape the product go-to-market strategy.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Over 12 years of experience in product/program management, product marketing, business development, or technology
  • 6+ years of team leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Track record in defining market and product needs
  • Proficiency in engaging and influencing senior executives
  • Expertise in strategizing roadmap direction and definitions
  • Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or related field
  • Experience leading teams of 6 or more individuals
  • Background in working for international companies
