What is the role about?

In the Global Supply Planning department, we are in search of a Supply Planning Expert to assist in optimizing planning initiatives at Grundfos. Exciting improvement projects are underway in Global Planning, focusing on the optimization, standardization, and automation of our End-to-End planning processes throughout Grundfos.

You will join a global team dedicated to optimizing processes, developing Global Best Practices, and overseeing Grundfos' supply planning procedures to ensure a balanced supply and sales plan, which serves as the cornerstone for our Global SIOE, SIOP, and long-term planning protocols.

The main focus will be on optimizing End-to-End planning to enhance accuracy by establishing a unified system-based plan. This plan will form the basis for inventory optimization and the advancement of planning capabilities to facilitate clear decision-making. All optimization efforts will be closely coordinated with planning teams in different divisions and key stakeholders at various levels within Grundfos, emphasizing the importance of strong collaboration and communication skills.

Location:

The Supply Planning Expert will be based in Hungary, Serbia, China, or in proximity to one of our main production facilities.

What are the requirements for this role?

You should have a proven track record of driving planning optimization projects within a complex organizational structure. Possessing an analytical mindset, the ability to lead processes through others, at least a Bachelor's degree, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Planning are essential. A global perspective, a commitment to growth, and a focus on customer service are also valuable assets.

Professional skills & experience

  • Proficiency in SAP, BW, APO/IBP, and Supply chain
  • Experience working with Excel and Power BI
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Supply Chain planning
  • Effective stakeholder management skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of SIOP/S&OP processes

  • Effective communication & skilled in making fact-based decisions
  • Proficient in relationship building and communication across all organizational levels
