Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Sales account manager to join our Personal care business at our Shanghai, China. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Personal care function. This position will report to East China sales account manager.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Responsible for sales operations in assigned territory. Focuses on personal sales targets, new business development, and troubleshooting on problem or key markets. Needs to work closely with marketing, technology, and supply chain function in China.

Taking overall responsibility of the following areas:

Maintain existing accounts business and develop new business opportunities in Shanghai and North China, especially key customers in Shandong Take responsibility for the achievement of sales goals. Build strong relationship with key strategic accounts, clients and distributors. Catch new business opportunities through customer communication. Frequently communicating with Marketing and Technology to ensure new product development, new target account development. Responsible for proposing, developing and implementing sales forecast. Significant travel to customers (over 50%) required.

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical or Polymer materials related.
  • Min. 5 years working experiences in personal care, Min 3 years sales experiences.
  • Good command of computer; Good interpersonal and communication skills; High sense of responsibility.
