Amazon Global Selling has been instrumental in assisting individuals and businesses in boosting their sales and expanding their customer base worldwide. At present, over half of Amazon's total unit sales originate from third-party selections.

The team in China is specifically dedicated to enlisting local businesses to sell on Amazon's 14 overseas marketplaces. Their goal is to enhance the success and growth of local sellers on the Amazon platform. The ultimate vision is to become the top choice for various Chinese businesses looking to venture into the global market.


As the Product Marketing Manager at Amazon, your primary responsibility will be to devise a strategic roadmap for product acquisition. This roadmap will be based on comprehensive insights into seller behavior, competitive analysis, existing and upcoming product features, and marketing strategies. The aim is to boost product visibility, desirability, and uptake.

You will collaborate with both global and local stakeholders to establish the unique selling points of the product and launch effective marketing campaigns. Additionally, you will work closely with the Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers (ACCS) China Sales team to organize offline seller events, participate in key seller conferences, and engage in events hosted by Amazon and external partners to promote product awareness and adoption.

This role is based in Shanghai and involves domestic travel.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the product marketing acquisition roadmap and acquisition goals.
  • Collaborate with global product/marketing teams and CN sales teams to identify product strengths and areas for improvement based on seller feedback.
  • Develop approved marketing content and campaign materials.
  • Collaborate with channel owners/marketing operations team to monitor and optimize acquisition funnel performance.
  • Plan annual offline seller events in key cities, work with CN sales teams for execution, and enhance event effectiveness.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of marketing experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, proficient in business English and Chinese.
  • Strong track record of managing complex marketing initiatives independently.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in organizing offline events and driving innovations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Marketing or Product Management.
  • Familiarity with SQL and analytical tools for in-depth metric analysis and reporting.
  • Background in product marketing, cross-border payments, fintech, or eCommerce.
