Senior Staff Product Application Engineer

In this exciting role, you will:

  • Define product requirements as a foundation for developing power semiconductor modules
  • Simulate and calculate the electrical and thermal behavior of power semiconductor modules under specific customer application conditions
  • Collaborate with research and development (R&D) and customers in the product development phase
  • Validate and design power semiconductor modules in new projects for leading innovative customers
  • Stay informed about new products and technologies through various channels and share knowledge within the organization
  • Support the verification of innovative product concepts through application-related tests
  • Assist customers with technical support during the design-in process and issue resolutions

To excel in this role, you need:

  • A technical university degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering, or related field
  • More than 5 years of experience in power electronics, semiconductor technology, or related areas
  • Knowledge in research, development, and design of power electronic components
  • Expertise in calculating and simulating power electronic circuits
  • Some experience in customer interaction and technical support
  • Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to build relationships
  • Willingness to travel and proficiency in English and Chinese
