As the finance manager, this role is responsible for China business overall finance management, includes accounting, reporting, tax filling, internal and external audit ect.

Client Details

My client is one small to middle size chemical industry trading company, shanghai office overall around 10-20 employees.

This company is one multinational company with global business scope.

Description

1) Cash management, Accounting & Reporting:
- Manage capital in daily operation; make weekly cash forecast;
- Take major part of Account Payable work;
- Working closely with GL accountant to ensure month/quarter-end closing is made in time;
- Double check the month/quarter-end closing to ensure the quality of work;
- Help the GL accountant to prepare financial reports according to COMPANY's accounting policy and Chinese accounting policy;
- Double check the monthly financial reports to ensure the accuracy of reports.
2) Financial Analysis & Budget making:
- Make monthly/quarterly financial analysis report for the company, help General Manager to optimize company activities to achieve better financial results;
- Work with General Manager to make annual budget;
- Work closely with global team to meet the deadline.
3) Internal control:
- Make credit investigation, suggest credit limit of customers;
- Help to setup company working procedure from internal control point of view;
4) Tax & annual audit:
- Organize tax relevant issues to ensure all operation complied with regulations;
- Prepare for annual audit
5) Corporate financing:
- Coordinate with COMPANY headquarter for additional financing from bank;
6) Working with global team:
- Work closely with COMPANY global team to comply with COMPANY global policies, also need to explain Chinese local regulations to the team sometimes, so as to meet the quality and timing request of all financial related activities.

Profile

chemical industry trading industry background is preferred.

overall finance management background is preferred.

English skills must be good, both written and spoken.
