Job Description

TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams play a crucial role in selling TE's products, systems, or services. They offer detailed technical product information and maintain strong relationships with customers within specific geographic territories, industries, or accounts.

What we are looking for:Overview:

Engage in sales and marketing activities, follow up on accounts receivable and past dues, and cultivate customer relationships/new development projects to meet sales targets, increase market share, and ensure customer satisfaction. Specifically responsible for the light-duty truck business.

Responsibilities:

Sales Activities:
  • Develop and implement an annual sales plan focusing on key accounts; analyze customer needs and enhance content per vehicle to drive sales growth
  • Promote products to customers based on their inquiries to secure sales orders; negotiate contract terms and pricing to achieve sales targets and expand market share
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers; facilitate communication between customers and internal departments to drive customer satisfaction and generate new sales opportunities
  • Handle customer offers and negotiations
  • Achieve project targets in quality, capacity, timing, and cost
  • Address challenges, drive profit enhancements, and manage technical changes
Marketing Activities
  • Stay informed about the market; gather customer and competitor insights, monitor market trends, and prepare reports to enhance market share and establish expansion strategies
  • Collaborate with Marcom to coordinate marketing events, distribute catalogs and promotional materials to customers to showcase TE Auto products and bolster corporate branding
  • Develop and maintain relationships with both existing and new customers; facilitate communication between customers and internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and drive new sales
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

3+ years of sales experience in the automotive industry, preferably in roles like account manager, CQE, FAE, PM, or product engineer

  • Proficient in English
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, integrity, sense of responsibility, proactive attitude, and eagerness to learn
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform under pressure
