The Solution Leader for Oligo/mRNA workflows at Cytiva plays a crucial role in collaborating with regional sales teams to tailor mRNA or oligo solutions for projects of varying scales. By utilizing your expertise in Cytiva products, you'll enhance our ability to provide comprehensive solutions.

This position is within the Nucleic Acid workflow team in the Genomic Medicine field based in Shanghai/Suzhou, offering full remote work. At Cytiva, our aim is to progress future therapeutic innovations from discovery to distribution.

What you'll do in this role:

  • Present and discuss the benefits of Oligo or mRNA solutions on-site with customers, offering technical support in the early stages of projects to drive sales and orders.
  • Assist the commercial team in identifying opportunities and needs related to mRNA or Oligo, assessing technical feasibility of custom requests and optimization opportunities.
  • Gain valuable insights into Oligo or mRNA manufacturing processes from customers, devising strategies to develop solutions that align with their needs and expectations, ultimately expanding our Genomic Medicine business.
  • Leverage your knowledge of mRNA or oligo workflows in conjunction with Cytiva products to help customers address technical challenges they may encounter.
  • Build strong client relationships, including at the executive level, with project champions, and key end-users.
  • Manage oligo or mRNA projects, encompassing early project communication, solution proposals, quotations, and project strategy development.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver presentations in the market, enhancing our segment's brand.

The essential requirements for this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field, with a preference for a CGT background.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the oligo or mRNA industry, with a strong command of mRNA or oligo workflows.
  • Sales techniques, including cross-selling, upselling, value propositions, workflow sales, and funnel management.
  • Strong presentation skills and willingness to travel.
