What will the job entail?

  • Ensure team members complete required courses and pass assessments.
  • Organize regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge, service standards, and activities familiarity among team members.
  • Assist in hotel budget completion alongside the Commercial Director/Revenue Manager.
  • Maximize room sales and revenue focusing on up-selling.
  • Review new reservations daily, amend or cancel bookings promptly, and ensure accurate information distribution to relevant departments.
  • Check daily arrivals, ensuring accuracy of guest data, requirements, and pricing details.
  • Handle secretarial tasks like correspondence preparation, file maintenance, and communication.
  • Maintain a proactive sales attitude, seizing all potential sales opportunities.
  • Develop Reservation and Group & Tour teams to optimize revenue on inquiries.
  • Monitor changes in guest sources and markets, reporting trends to the Revenue Manager and Commercial Director.
  • Ensure correct and prompt commission handling.
  • File all rejected business with proper justifications.
  • Ensure accurate filing of all correspondence with up-to-date information.
  • Adhere to hotel credit policy and meet revenue forecasts.
  • Follow set room supply and price control guidelines.
  • Update reservation procedures for guest info and sales data maintenance.
  • Maintain high guest service standards and ensure accurate information input.
  • Attend to team members' needs and workload to meet operational requirements efficiently.
  • Ensure tidy work areas and compliance with reservation policies.
  • Follow all hotel systems and procedures diligently.
  • Emphasize reservation quality and adhere strictly to brand standards.
  • Ensure team members understand and comply with hotel rules and regulations.
  • Perform any reasonable duties as assigned by management.

What are qualifications needed?

  • Hospitality passion, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and promptness.
  • University graduate.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar capacity within international chain hotels.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese for business communication.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Effective team player able to handle pressure and busy periods.
  • Capable of leading, guiding, and developing team members.
  • Proficient in crisis management and self-motivated with innovative ideas.
