Job Description

Job Title: Packaging/Labeling Technician II

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Packaging/Labeling Technician II to join our world-class team. As a Packaging/Labeling Technician II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the flawless packaging and labeling of our products, contributing to our mission of enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Responsibilities:
  • Strictly adhere to packaging and labeling procedures and instructions
  • Determine appropriate packaging materials to ensure product protection during transportation
  • Compete labeling tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Successfully implement packaging and labeling changes based on product specifications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, strictly following safety guidelines
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure the integrity of packaged products
  • Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and cycle counting
  • Document packaging and labeling activities in accordance with company policies
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in packaging and labeling within a regulated industry
  • Proven attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with exceptional accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
