Job Purpose

This position is responsible for AN's supplier sustainability management across all categories including raw materials, NPR, Logistics and 3rd party manufacturing. Leading to develop and launch the supplier sustainability pipelines with category sourcing managers against global procurement sustainability agenda and AN's sustainability objectives.

Key Accountabilities

Category sustainability management:

Onboard category managers and buyers (including the newcomers) to understand company sustainability ambitions and supplier sustainability management & integrate them into the daily procurement activities through regular training and workshop

Lead to organize and support to develop and implement the regional sustainability pipeline for assigned category / sub-categories against the global procurement sustainability objectives

Developing an objective tracking forum besides the monthly global BI report for assigned category / sub-categories

Supplier sustainability management:

Lead to launch the supplier engagement pipelines by providing guidance and tips to ensure the progress is on track for the assigned category / sub-categories

Timely monitor the supplier sustainability progress for the assigned category / sub-categories

Provides regular updates supplier performance progress for assigned category / sub-categories against global procurement sustainability objectives

Provides risk- & fact-based sustainability inputs to the regional supplier portfolio: supplier selection, negotiation, QDCIS improvement

Support to introduce new suppliers by applying the Supplier Evaluation Template


Stakeholder management:

Closely work with global procurement sustainability central team on the global sustainability event, program and projects

Ensure the sustainability objectives scope are clearly and accurately defined with the global procurement sustainability central team for the assigned categories / sub-categories

Work with communication team and various functions (e.g. the marketing, RD of business units) to lead the supplier sustainability campaigns/events to build up more awareness and strengthen more positive exposure/impact at the company (internal) and in the industry & market (external)

Contributions to the global and regional TfS workstreams

Provide supplier sustainability data and insights when requested by the other functions

Work with:

  • Procurement excellence team
  • Procurement managers / buyers and category leads / sourcing managers in the region
  • Regional communication team
  • Regional RD&I team
  • Supplier Representatives
  • External Sustainability organizations such as
Experience

5+ years in sustainability, marketing, or procurement function with relevant experience in sustainability (e.g. environmental, worker health and safety, human rights, critical material traceability, energy management)

Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or Business management or Legal

Fluent spoken and written English, a second language (e.g. Korean) is a plus
