What you'll do

Medical Strategic Leadership

Lead the medical advisors to develop and execute medical plan across UCB therapeutic areas aligning with medical strategy;Identify medical opportunity in current trends of diagnosis, existing/emerging treatment options, and unmet medical needs across UCB therapeutic areas as medical base for business initiative and decisions;Evaluate new products, new indications, new research programs, new business potentials across UCB therapeutic areas from medical perspective to support business decisions;Establish strategic partnership with China medical association and design appropriate medical programs;Set up top national level KOL database, and lead medical advisors for effective medical communication through various approaches , and ensure its implementation;

Data Generation

Develop phase IV study and other post-market approval study (like RWE, etc.) strategies, and drive its endorsement from company;Review and endorse Investigator Initiate research proposal to ensure its scientific standard and strategy fit;Provide input to the publication plan, provide ideas for generating manuscripts of interest, and actively review manuscripts and abstracts to ensure medical and scientific accuracy;

Cross-function Collaboration

Work with marketing and sale leaders across UCB therapeutic areas and key issues resolution from medical point of view;Review and approve medical dossier for drug reimbursement listing, pricing bidding and other access related issues;Design/conduct effective training programs on field force supporting programs to develop sale team's medical capability, and solve key medical issues;

Requirement:

Master degree or above in clinical medicine or other relatedStrong clinical, scientific and pharmaceutical knowledge;Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively in both Chinese and English, written and verbal;Strong organization skills and able to support multiple projects in a timely and organized manner;Cross functional leadership skill; Strong business acumen; Talent Management skill;8+ years medical strategy experience in pharmaceutical industry preferred.
