Job Title: IT Solutions and Technical Lead

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining technology solutions using Agile methodologies to meet business needs. The job holder will act as a technical lead for specific China Insurance applications, responsible for the entire lifecycle of those applications' enhancement delivery and production supporting maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications with necessary functional testing, code review, and deployment.
  • Familiar with front-end and back-end technology stacks for development, implement products with agile methods, and iterate quickly to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Provide professional views and insights from domain knowledge to ensure applications cater to business growth requirements.
  • Participate in code reviews and design meetings, and respond quickly to resolve issues to keep the team on track.
  • As IT service owner, be accountable for building and maintaining effective control of the end-to-end (E2E) Service/Application daily operation.
  • Build good working relationships with business departments and ensure the satisfaction of all stakeholders with IT services.
  • As the local representative of the IT department, be responsible for handling all local IT matters, including internal and external regulatory responses.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in various mainstream/modern technology stacks.
  • Familiarity with technology trends, architect concepts, container platforms, cloud platforms, and network technology.
  • Knowledge of project governance, stakeholder management, and third-party management.
  • Good business sense, ability to continually question and reduce costs.
  • Strong drive to get things done and work in an environment with many moving parts but still find a way forward.
  • Good team player with ability to work under stress and self-motivate.
  • University graduate in Information Technology, Computer, Information Security, or related major or equivalent is required.
  • Working experience in an insurance company or bank is preferred.
  • Working experience of Data platform and Data Domain knowledge is a plus.
