Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Organon. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental programs to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health, safety, and environmental procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in health, safety, and environmental management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as environmental science, safety, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Professional certifications, such as CIH or CSP.
  • Experience with fleet and office safety.
