Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Safety Assurance Manager to lead our safety assurance activities in the Projects and Programs of our region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering safe solutions, managing safety resources, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage and perform safety assurance activities in Projects and Programs
  • Deliver safe solutions and support the development of safety cases
  • Manage safety resources, including Safety Assurance Managers and Safety Engineers
  • Manage budgets and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
Key Performance Indicators
  • No "NO GO" for Safety reasons in Gate Reviews
  • Low rework due to External/Internal Assessments
  • Quality of Safety Findings
  • Late Safety Requirements Identification
Requirements
  • Advanced University or Engineering degree
  • English operational in reading and writing for technical documentation
  • System, Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical engineering knowledge
Experience
  • Experience in team management
  • Mastering full engineering cycle and related interactions
  • Mastering Cenelec Standards for Safety and safety methodology & concepts/principles
  • 5 years successful experience in safety assurance including 2 years in Railway business
