As a Business Intelligence Researcher in Shanghai, you'll have the opportunity to work with all areas of the organization, gaining a keen understanding of the use of data across the firm. You'll work closely with Developers, Researchers, and Data Analysts to solve challenging business problems, leveraging technology to surface meaningful business intelligence insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead efforts to leverage technology and data to drive business insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems
  • Design and implement data pipelines and analytics platforms
  • Liaise with research and trading teams on various topics, including post-trade statistical analysis
  • Broadcast insights and information globally to connect the company across regions
  • Produce research to educate and influence exchange decision making

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to connect dots across different data sources
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience with programming languages for automation tasks
  • Practical understanding of database concepts and applications, ETL Pipelining
  • Experience with data analysis, SQL, Linux, and BI platforms
  • Untiringly inquisitive, self-starter, scrappy, creative, and good instincts
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Ability to quickly learn business concepts and network effectively with peers
