Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Manager to join our team at Novo Nordisk. As a key member of our medical affairs team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive medical strategy that aligns with our brand market strategy.

  • Develop and execute a medical strategy that meets brand market strategy objectives.
  • Ensure top-level medical contribution to internal and external customers through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Facilitate the success of new product launches and patient access initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and develop new KOLs to support our medical strategy.
  • Develop and execute IEP/publication plans and clinical trials (RWE, IIS, etc.) to support our medical strategy.
  • Approve promotional materials to ensure they align with our medical strategy.
  • Lead and manage a team to achieve medical strategy objectives and manage team budgets.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A medical degree (Master's or higher) with a preference for endocrinology or cardiology.
  • Formal business education (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Fluent spoken and written English language skills.
  • Scientific research and/or clinical experience, preferably in endocrinology or cardiology.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical marketing, R&D, or medical affairs functions.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Medical Affairs Manager role.
