The Position

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of operational excellence strategies to drive business performance.
  • Oversee the site's business process management and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and coaching for Operational Excellence projects and teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain site-level business plans and strategies.
  • Lead and manage the Operational Excellence team.
  • Ensure the site is effectively practicing defined business processes and Lean Production System.
  • Drive continuous improvement through PT-leadership behaviors.

Learning & Development

  • Develop and implement training strategies and programs for site employees.
  • Lead the development of training materials and courses.
  • Collaborate with the global Learning and Development team to develop training courses and materials.

Business Support

  • Lead the site's Business Support Council to centralize management of site business support activities.
  • Coordinate stakeholders to develop the Site Business Plan as part of site strategy.
  • Lead functions to develop, implement, and monitor site goals and KPIs through strategy deployment.
  • Oversee site Project Portfolio, including product technical transfers, CAPEX, and business projects.

Leadership & People Management

  • Perform regular succession planning and maintain accurate job profiles.
  • Align succession candidates with line managers and confirm interest of colleagues listed on the succession list.

Qualification and Experience

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Black Belt or higher, Black Belt or Master Black Belt or equivalent.

Leadership Competencies

  • 10 years of experience in functional management, leading and directing individuals and groups.
  • Minimum 5 years of Operational Excellence related professional experience.
  • Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement programs with quantifiable business results.
  • Experience working in and influencing decisions in matrix organizations.

  • Excellent communication skills across a range of boundaries (regional and functional) and in a variety of settings (1-on-1, small groups, presentations).
  • Deep analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead people indirectly and through influence.
