- Engaging with both new and established clients across various sectors including Pharmaceuticals, Biopharmaceuticals, Chemical Materials, Food Safety, Environmental Science, Clinical Research, and Academia.
- Enhancing relationships with current customers while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Conducting regular visits to clients within the designated region.
- Coordinating, presenting, and following up on educational seminars and workshops at client locations.
- Delivering high-quality technical guidance to clients, with a strong emphasis on maximizing sales opportunities.
- Collaborating with various departments to ensure client satisfaction and success, working closely with teams across Waters Corporation, including Instrument Sales, Chemistry Operations, and Informatics.
- Developing and executing effective business strategies.
- Organizing and prioritizing personal schedules and sales activities efficiently.
- Complying with Waters Corporation and client-specific Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations during site visits and as an individual contributor.
- Utilizing relevant systems such as CRM, Service Plans, and Quotation systems, while actively seeking improvements and upgrades.
Qualifications
Education:
- A Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, or PhD in a scientific discipline such as Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry.
Experience:
- Familiarity with Liquid Chromatography and Sample Preparation techniques.
- Desirable experience in technical and practical solution selling, particularly in Chemistry Consumables.
- Experience in a High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) laboratory, with a preference for method development experience.
Skills:
- Proactive and results-driven with a robust technical foundation in analytical technologies, particularly LC and MS.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and an attentive listener.
- Professional demeanor, positive outlook, and a strong commitment to responsibilities.
Travel Requirements:
- This role requires travel within the assigned territory, with occasional trips to other regions for departmental governance, local business support, meetings, and training sessions.
