Job Title: Commissioning & Start-up Manager

At ANDRITZ, we are passionate about delivering innovative solutions to our customers globally. As a Commissioning & Start-up Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our clients in key industries that shape the future of the world.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for achieving signature of Start-up / Take-over Certificate (PAC) and Performance Acceptance Certificate (FAC), including site activities such as customer training, CAT, commissioning & start-up advisory services, operation assistance, performance test, and site service planning.
  • Manage and coordinate site service activities with the Customer and other ANDRITZ site service team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships related to site management, verifying resourcing together with project management in respect to contract budget and definitions.
  • Coordinate site coordination meetings and reports, including Meeting memos and Weekly reports, Logbook / diary management / feedback, and making sure necessary notices for milestones have been issued according to contract requirements.
  • Collect relevant logbook information of machine damage / unplanned shutdowns and ensure Punch-list completion.
  • Manage site service risks in coordination with project management and handle contract / claim management in cooperation with Project Management.
  • Ensure cost / Cash management at site in coordination with project management and coordinate site purchasing activities and documentation.
  • Support handling and controlling of invoices from sub-contractors / to the Customer and ensure Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and QA/QC coordination at site.
  • Provide local support concerning on-site portion customs clearance, work permits, taxes, letter of credit, logistics, and special dedicated tasks if local company / local branch office is established for the project.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master Degree of Pulp & Paper industry, Chemistry or any other related engineering.
  • Good understanding of site services and project execution.
  • Good English communication skill in reading/writing and oral.
  • More than 2-year experience of kraft mill fiber line operation or commissioning & start-up.
  • Microsoft Office, AutoCAD.
  • Office location in Foshan, Guangdong and project site (China or abroad).
