Job Title: Quality Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join our team at ZF Group. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing an effective and efficient quality organization to improve our quality management system to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop an effective and efficient quality organization to improve quality management system to the next level.
  • Plan, execute, and follow up of quality improvement activities, drive for continuous improvement in terms of quality, cost, and issue resolution timing.
  • Customer focus and satisfaction from understanding customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality assurance processes & follow up to closure & lessons learnt and read across, customer reporting, customer survey in the PCDA manner.
  • Work with cross-function team (Sales, Category managers, customers etc.) to drive for internal & external improvement eg understand customer pain points/TOP issues and seek for improvement, support customer to resolve CID(Customer Induced Defects)/NTF(no trouble found) issues by providing training & guidance to customers etc.
  • Promotion of zero defect quality culture, share knowledge and experience internally and externally to enhance expertise and foster a preventive mindset.
  • Setup & aligned with AP the quality key performance indicators (KPIs), trigger major actions to achieve targets, seek for improvement projects in quality aspect beyond KPIs ;
  • Lead and develop the quality team, motivating & maximizing performance.
  • Other duties as assigned

About You

  • More than 5 years' work experience in the automotive industry OEM business(additional aftermarket business is a plus)
  • More than 3 years' quality manager experience
  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Good English skills (Writing, speaking)
  • Proficient in MS Office, power BI is a plus
  • Conscientious and responsible
  • A keen eye for detail and data & results driven
  • Outstanding communication & excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • In-depth understanding of quality assurance knowledge eg IATF 5 core tools APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA etc
  • Travel required
