Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage local projects characterized by low budget, complexity, risk, and strategic importance.
  • Oversee local projects with international and cross-functional teams, ensuring effective project planning, management, and adherence to schedules.
  • Coordinate local projects with a strong emphasis on achieving high performance from project teams and meeting predefined objectives.
  • Implement established project management standards, processes, and tools to meet daily operational goals that impact team performance.
  • Plan, monitor, and achieve project quality, timing, and financial targets while communicating relevant practices and policies within the organization.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to plan internal and external resources, considering individual skills and competencies.
  • Manage work packages and milestones within project teams using prescribed methodologies and systems.
  • Ensure ongoing achievement of project objectives and adapt project scope through continuous monitoring of evolving requirements.
  • Integrate internal and external service providers as necessary, focusing on economic, qualitative, and scheduling aspects to meet project goals.
  • Track project status, continuously processing and interpreting internal and external information, and make decisions on necessary adjustments in case of deviations.
  • Coordinate change management and scope adjustments in international project settings, with a focus on financial outcomes.
  • Facilitate the development of a comprehensive risk and opportunity response strategy, ensuring timely actions are taken when needed.
  • Proactively escalate issues when targets are not met, presenting alternative solutions in collaboration with the project team.
  • Establish and maintain systematic relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Conduct project steering meetings with clients to ensure alignment on quality, cost, and scheduling objectives.
  • Utilize standard communication strategies to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Analyze and assess processes, providing recommendations for improvements and optimization of existing workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Preferred background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • General knowledge of lighting technologies.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the automotive industry.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills; fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
  • Expertise in project cost estimation and management.
