Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee local projects characterized by low budgets, complexity, risk, and strategic importance.
  • Lead local projects involving international and cross-functional teams, ensuring project planning, execution, and monitoring align with established targets and timelines.
  • Coordinate and implement local projects with a strong emphasis on team performance and achieving predefined objectives, ensuring successful execution across all involved locations.
  • Utilize established project management standards, including processes, methodologies, and tools, to set and meet daily objectives that significantly impact team performance.
  • Plan, monitor, and achieve project quality, timing, and financial targets while effectively communicating practices and policies to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to plan internal and external resources, considering individual capabilities and expertise.
  • Oversee work packages and milestones within project teams using prescribed methodologies and systems.
  • Ensure continuous achievement of project objectives, adapting project scope as necessary through ongoing assessment of new requirements and changing conditions.
  • Integrate internal and external service providers as needed, focusing on economic, qualitative, and scheduling aspects to meet project goals.
  • Monitor project progress, interpreting internal and external information, and addressing deviations or changes in project specifications with appropriate measures.
  • Manage engineering change and scope adjustments in international project settings, emphasizing profit and loss considerations.
  • Facilitate the development of risk and opportunity response strategies, ensuring timely actions are taken based on gathered information.
  • Proactively escalate issues when targets are not met, collaborating with the project team to explore alternative solutions.
  • Establish and maintain systematic relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Conduct project steering meetings with clients to ensure alignment with quality, cost, and scheduling objectives.
  • Implement standard communication strategies to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Analyze and evaluate processes, providing recommendations for improvements and optimization of existing workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Preferred background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • General knowledge of lighting technology.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the automotive sector.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills; fluency in English (both oral and written) is essential.
  • Expertise in project cost estimation and management.
