Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage local projects characterized by low budgets, complexity, and strategic importance.
  • Lead international and interdisciplinary project teams, ensuring effective project planning, execution, and monitoring against established objectives.
  • Coordinate local projects with a strong emphasis on team performance and goal achievement, facilitating successful implementation across all relevant locations.
  • Apply standardized project management methodologies, setting daily objectives that positively influence project outcomes.
  • Plan and track project milestones, quality, timelines, and financial targets while effectively communicating policies and practices to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to plan internal and external resources, considering individual skills and competencies.
  • Steer work packages and milestones within project teams using established methods and systems.
  • Ensure ongoing achievement of project goals, adapting to new requirements and changing circumstances as necessary.
  • Integrate internal and external service providers, focusing on economic, qualitative, and scheduling aspects to meet project objectives.
  • Monitor project progress, interpreting internal and external information, and addressing deviations or change requests with appropriate measures.
  • Manage engineering changes and scope adjustments in international projects, emphasizing profitability and loss management.
  • Facilitate the development of risk and opportunity response strategies, ensuring timely actions are taken by responsible parties.
  • Proactively escalate issues when targets are not met, presenting alternative solutions in collaboration with the project team.
  • Establish and maintain systematic relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Conduct project steering meetings with clients to ensure alignment on quality, cost, and scheduling targets.
  • Utilize standard communication strategies to maintain clarity and consistency.
  • Analyze and evaluate existing processes, providing recommendations for improvements and optimizations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Preferred background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • General knowledge of lighting technology.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the automotive industry.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills; fluency in English (both oral and written) is essential.
  • Proficient in project cost estimation and financial control.
