Job Summary:


Summary:


The Program Assistant Manager will be based in a dynamic work environment, reporting to the Program Manager. In this role, you will be in charge of guiding a team of cross-functional experts in the delivery of customer-focused products and services and will hold up the development and implementation of project, pricing, and program strategies to continue delivering value to the business and its customers.



Responsibilities:



  • Organize, plan, and direct program schedules and budgets to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Track relevant metrics and drive action items based on results to ensure program success.
  • Provide expertise and support with contract negotiations as required.
  • Oversee all interdepartmental activities to ensure completion of product development timelines, delivery, quality, and business metrics.
  • Review program proposals or plans to resolve timeframes, funding requirements, procedures for accomplishing programs, staffing requirements, and resource allocation.
  • Establish work plans and staffing for each phase of the program and arrange for personnel recruitment or assignment.
  • Manage the coordination of product life cycle activities with profit and loss and customer satisfaction, while maintaining control over different customer accounts of varying complexities.
  • Act as the key channel of communication for customers and escalate customer issues when necessary.
  • Conduct customer satisfaction reviews and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain current and develop additional business with customers.
  • Ensure project and program deliverables are met.
  • Be accountable for maintaining excellent customer relations with both new and existing customers.
  • Support production sites for projects, costs, and customer-related matters through business expertise.


Requirements:



  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in program administration/management or a related area.
  • Advanced operations, technical, and people/process skills, as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
  • Knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes, industries, or functions, and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site.
  • Accountability for program wellness.
