Key Responsibilities

As a Hardware Development Engineer at Porsche Engineering Group, you will be responsible for analyzing hardware development requirements and inputs, proposing and defining hardware technical solutions with proper component selection, and proposing and defining peripheral circuit design based on chip specification.

Key Qualifications

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in vehicle engineering, Electric/Electronic engineering or hardware and circuit design
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in automotive companies (OEM or 1st tier)
  • Good experience in analog and digital circuit design, schematic design level
  • Good knowledge of impedance-controlled circuit design
  • Good overview of existing technologies, components and suppliers
  • High knowledge in PCB technology, including stack up, impedance characteristics and mechanical limitations
  • Good knowledge on typical automotive design rules
  • Good experience in RF circuit design related to impedance-controlled PCB design
  • Experience in simulation tools such as LTSpice
  • Good experience in CAD like Altium designer
