Retail Strategist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Retail Strategist to join our team at Mercedes-Benz. As a key member of our Network Strategy & Planning department, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of retail touchpoints and their formation with a focus on TEV (PMO Function).
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate with stakeholders to identify deployment potential of TEV retail touchpoints
• Evaluate the profitability of potential projects, considering business cases and cost factors
• Oversee the overall progress of concept design development
• Facilitate communication among region, investors, design companies, suppliers, and dealers, ensuring timely project status sharing and transparency
• Establish a good communication channel and foster co-creation within BMBS and MB HQ
• Coordinate and execute quality control of holistic project operations
• Coordinate and steer the implementation, on-site execution, observation, and tracking for network transformation with a focus on an enhanced customer experience
• Facilitate project-relevant budget consolidation and provide transparency
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, including reporting preparation for internal management and external stakeholders
Additional Responsibilities
• Coordinate and co-steer the Cost of Retail project with BMBS/HQ internal counterparts
• Facilitate alignment between BMBS and HQ regarding the definition and scope of Cost of Retail
• Identify cost optimization potentials of dealer groups together with BMBS internal counterparts
• Facilitate and optimize the CoR estimation tools
• Prepare briefing decks for this topic
Requirements
• University/Diploma graduate in Marketing, Communication, Business Management, and Strategic Business development, or related disciplines
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in network development, project management, marketing, or strategy
• International company or work experience overseas preferred
• Previous luxury retail experience is an advantage
Desired Skills
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
• Flexibility, integrity, and endurance
• Interest in creative design is a plus
• Knowledge of existing MB Retail Customer Journey & Processes
