About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Package R&D team in China as a Senior Process Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of process development engineers to drive innovation and excellence in packaging R&D.
- Develop and implement new process technologies and enablers to support the company's new products and package roadmap.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and transfer of new developed processes to mass production.
- Define and drive KPIs for the process development engineer team to ensure high performance and efficiency.
- Identify and develop new ideas for intellectual property (IP) submissions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Semiconductor Technology, Physics, or related area).
- At least 10 years of relevant working experience in process engineering or NPI engineering.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in managing a team.
- Strong knowledge of wire bonded packages, leaded SMD, WLCSP, SIP packages technologies, or other advanced assembly technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to coach others.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to keep up-to-date with state-of-the-art packaging, material, and process developments.
